I’m honored to be part of the FCS team, working to develop and disseminate a communication curriculum for surgical trainees. Effective, palliative-informed communication is a critical skill in surgery, yet it’s often overlooked in traditional training. I’m excited about the opportunity for FCS to ensure that future surgeons are equipped with the tools they need to navigate complex conversations with compassion, clarity, and skill.
